Make the most aromatic and Nutrition Loaded Traditional Kichidi with Rasa’s Primeva Nutri Rava. A very easy and quick one-pot recipe brings you all the wellness your body requires, without losing out on its yumminess! You can feel your grandmother’s touch in every spoon of kichidi you eat.
Ingredients: (Serves 2)
- 100 gms of Rasa’s Primeva Nutri Rava
- 1 cup each of following vegetables chopped
- Carrots, Beans, Potatoes, Cauliflower, Green Peas, Capsicum
- 1 Large Onion chopped finely
- 1 Large Tomato chopped finely
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tspn
- Green Chillies- 2
- Coriander Powder- 1 tspn
- Jeera Powder – 1 tspn
- Garam Masal Powder- ½ tspn
- Aamchur Powder – ¼ th tspn
- Salt- as needed
- Ghee -1.5 tbspn Bay Leaf- 1 Small, Cinnamon Stick- 1 small, Cloves – 2 nos
- Mustard Seeds, Jeera, Curry Leaves
- Take a pressure cooker on the stove, add ghee, tempering items and saute for few seconds.
- Now add the chopped onions, curry leaves, green chillies, ginger garlic paste and saute well
- Add in the chopped tomatoes and cook until they become mushy.
- Add in all the chopped vegetables and stir them for few minutes
- Now add in the masala powders and needed salt.
- Add in Rasa’s Primeva Nutri Rava now to the cooker, add water (for 1 cup of Rava you can use 2.5 cups of water), mix well and close the cooker.
- Leave it for 2 to 3 whistles and switch off the stove
- Garnish the Kichidi with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
- You can serve the kichidi with curd, papad and pickle.
